Nirukt Sapru was appointed CEO Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos, Standard Chartered Bank, in August 2013. He was subsequently appointed CEO Vietnam, ASEAN & South Asia Cluster Markets, Standard Chartered Bank in October 2015. In this role, he is responsible for developing strategy and driving the Bank’s business in Vietnam as well as overseeing the Bank’s performance in five other countries in the ASEAN and South Asia region including Australia, Brunei, Nepal, the Philippines and Sri Lanka.
Before moving to Vietnam, Nirukt was Managing Director and Head of Growth Markets of Standard Chartered Bank and based in Singapore from January 2011 to September 2013. In this position, he had responsibility for the Client Coverage business, Wholesale Banking, in Australia, Philippines, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Mauritius, Brunei, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Nepal, Bangladesh and Vietnam.
Nirukt has over 32 years of banking experience in various countries. Prior to joining Standard Chartered Bank in 2004, he was with ABN Amro Bank from 1990.
Nirukt was Chairman of the Banking Working Group Vietnam for two terms, 2015 and 2018.

Sơn received a doctorate degree from University of Washington, and a master degree from University of California at Berkeley. Working and living in the United States, Canada, and Vietnam, he communicates fluently in English, French, and Vietnamese.
He has been the leader of many important planning and architecture projects in Vietnam, including Hoa Lac Hightech Park (Hanoi), An Van Duong New Urban Area (Thua Thien-Hue), Danang Vision Planning towards 2030, Duc Me Nui Cui Regional Catholic Center, Thua Thien Hue Province’s Administrative Center and many other different projects.

Mr Philippe Richart has been appointed General Director of Siam City Cement (Vietnam) Limited in 2017 and is a Member of the Siam City Cement Company (SCCC) Ltd, Group Executive Committee, Thailand since March 1, 2019. 30 years of international experience in construction and building materials working mostly in Asia but also in USA and Europe. He spent 16 years with LafargeHolcim who divested their Vietnam operations in 2017. Prior to the position of General Director in Vietnam, he was CEO of Holcim Sri Lanka. He also occupied various management positions in Holcim and has a wide experience in construction in Taiwan, United States and China.

Prior to Dreamlab, he headed the marketing function in Asia Pacific for DigitalGlobe, a leading U.S. satellite imagery company, covering digital strategies, partner programs and product launches. Dr Dinh is an experienced engineer and manager in offshore and renewable energy and infrastructure systems with 20 years’ experience. He is managing a multi-disciplinary team including researchers and experts from 10 leading international companies for national development of offshore wind energy in Ireland.
Dr Dinh won the MSIWF Research Award (Japan) in 2009 by his PhD in high-speed railway dynamics, was an Assistant Professor at Konkuk University, South Korea and awarded two prestigious European Marie-Curie Fellowships. He worked at PLAXIS in The Netherlands, and at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland on offshore wind turbines and wave energy converters; spatial infrastructure systems; and geotechnical earthquake engineering. He was then a senior engineer at Wood Plc – a global leader in offshore and energy services, and led projects in floating platforms, risers, and offshore wind development. He has been a Senior Research Fellow at MaREI since 2017, and a member of AVSE Global.

Mr Kien Hoang graduated in 2001 with a Master’s Degree in Engineering from Cambridge University, United Kingdom. He worked in London for 8 years and Hong Kong for 7 years prior to moving to the Arup Vietnam office in 2016.
Kien has experience in both building and bridge engineering, having been involved in projects from the USA through to Asia Pacific, including most notably the infrastructure package for the London 2012 Olympics Park, and the High-Speed Rail Link in Hong Kong.
As Building Team Leader of Arup Vietnam, Kien is responsible for the technical delivery of Arup’s offerings in Structural and Building Services Engineering in the local market. Mr. Kien has led the structural design for the Landmark 81 Tower from Concept through to completion, and he is currently working on many high-profile projects throughout Vietnam for domestic and international Clients.
In addition to consulting work, Kien regularly undertakes collaboration with academia, including as Assistant Professor of the Department of Architecture at Hong Kong University. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, UK.
